2015 Rosé for Emily________$20/bottle

This is a totally dry rosé of Zinfandel. It has warm strawberry and other berry notes as well as warm spices on the nose. This wine was left on the skins for several days, so the intense color is paired with a full-bodied mouth feel. You may taste olallie berries, tart cherries and a hint of licorice on your tongue. Grapes from Stonetree Vineyard on Wahluke Slope.

2013 Zinfandel  –  $25/bottle

This Zin has notes of tobacco, black cherry and spice with hints of cedar and leather in the bouquet. Its lengthy finish bursts with black pepper overtones. Stonetree Vineyard on Wahluke Slope.

2010 Sangiovese  –  $26/bottle

This lovely berry-colored wine has cherry, raspberry, candied fruit, cassis, a bit of smoke and light notes of fennel and strawberry on the nose. The palate contains mellow tannins, and blackberries, cranberries, cherries, currants, a hint of white pepper, and leathery notes which carry through to the finish. This Sangiovese displays the finesse of elegance and structure, and is smooth enough to enjoy on its own, but will complement a range of foods. Columbia Valley AVA from the vineyards of Jordan Reed.

2013 Barbera  –  $28/bottle

Our first Barbera opens with allspice, cinnamon and cranberry on the nose; the complex palate begins with figs and cranberries, then develops into dark chocolate notes with a hint of almond. Lonesome Springs Vineyard, Yakima Valley AVA

2010 Merlot  –  $28/bottle

This lovely wine’s bouquet is rich with blackberry, raspberry, mulberry, cranberry and spices, including a whiff of white pepper. The palate is filled with more blackberry, cherry and toasted almonds. The wine has great mouthfeel and boasts a smooth, long finish. 2011 Lady Macbeth (bordeaux blend) – $35/bottle

Our dark Lady begins with bright cherry, black currants and a bit of chocolate on the nose, with cassis notes adding complexity. Loads of cherry, blackberry, marionberry and black currants explode on the tongue and continue through the finish with very good mouth feel. Oak from French and American barrels is nicely integrated. There is a slight tartness that will smooth out over time. This wine is ready to consume now but will develop even more over time. Lady M is a blend of 65% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, 24% Destiny Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot. 2011 Othello (bordeaux blend) – $32/bottle

Othello opens with delightful nuances of blueberry, a bit of chocolate, some peppercorn and vanilla on the nose when you swirl this lovely medium-bodied wine. The palate flavors smoothly combine smoky rhubarb, a bit of earthy notes and white pepper which stay on through the long finish. This wine will develop even more with a couple of years in the cellar. A blend of: 54% HHH Cab Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 5% Cab Franc, 5% Petite Verdot

2010 Cabernet Franc – $30/bottle

This wine has toasted rye, rhubarb, strawberry, bing cherry and cassis on the nose, while the palate boasts more bing cherry and cassis, as well as sour orange and a bit of leather on the mid-palate with some chalky/earthy notes, and a soft mouth feel. One taster mentioned a fruit pop toward the end of the finish. JBK Estates, Red Mountain AVA and McKinley Springs Vineyard, Horse Heaven Hills AVA. 2010 Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon – $32/bottle

The aromas on this wine are redolent with strawberries, red cherries, rhubarb, clover, licorice and underlying cinnamon toast with perhaps a bit of chocolate. On the palate are cherries, strawberries, charred poblano pepper, a bit of chocolate and spicy cinnamon with a long finish featuring some herbal notes of black tea/purple clover and possibly some raw honey. 2010 HHH Cabernet Sauvignon – $32/bottle

The bouquet opens with boysenberry, caramel and brown sugar, coconut and woodsy aromas of maple/pine. On the palate there are cherries and a bold concentration of well-integrated black fruits along with cassis and some tobacco and leather. One of our tasters mentioned some candied fruit on the mid-palate. This is a well-structured wine with a smooth mouth feel. Destiny Ridge Vineyards, Horse Heaven Hills AVA

2011 Petit Verdot  –  $32/bottle
